Applications Received After March 1

Pre-Kindergarten And Kindergarten

The Application Form
(PRE-K and K)
Complete the application in full and return to Holy Cross in the enclosed envelope with the non-refundable $50 application fee. This fee also covers our testing. Please complete this step first.

Parent Questionnaire
(PRE-K and K)

Upon receipt of your completed application, you will be mailed a parent questionnaire.  Please complete and return this questionnaire by the admission process deadline stated on the admissions documents. 

The Admissions Test (K Only)
All prospective kindergartners take a standardized readiness test. This test screens key developmental traits across a broad range of skills necessary to begin school. It is designed to assist in making decisions concerning a child’s readiness to begin kindergarten.
Parents of prospective kindergartners should call the school (334-395-8222) to schedule an individual test time.

Get Acquainted Session
(PRE-K and K)
Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten applicants come for a brief "get
acquainted" session. These sessions allow us to observe the applicant’s
interaction and behavior in a group setting.  Please call the school
(334-395-8222) to schedule your child’s session.

Teacher Recommendation
(PRE-K and K)
Complete the permission section and give your child’s current teacher the Teacher Evaluation form and the return envelope. The teacher should complete the form and return it as soon as possible.

The following should be completed ASAP.

The results of the admissions process will be mailed or emailed to you ASAP.

Applications Received After March 1

Students applying after our initial admissions process deadline should disregard all deadlines listed in our admissions material. The Admissions Committee meets as needed to review applications that are received after the admissions deadline has passed. Please note that all steps in the admissions process must be complete before the Committee will review the application.

We will continue to accept and thoroughly consider applications received after the deadlines, but only after we have first considered applications filed and completed by our original deadlines.

A campus visit for the candidate and family is recommended.

Additional testing and/or a class day visit may be requested by the Admissions Committee.

First - Sixth Grade

The Application Form
Complete the application in full and return to Holy Cross in the enclosed envelope with the non-refundable $50 application fee.

The Admissions Test
An entrance exam is required. The fee for this test is covered in the
application fee. All prospective first through sixth graders will be tested.  Please call the school office to schedule this test.

Teacher Recommendations
A teacher evaluation from your child’s teacher is required. Complete and give your child’s current teacher the Teacher Evaluation 1st – 6th grade form and return envelope.  Please stress that this form must be completed and received by Holy Cross as soon as as possible.

School Records
A copy of your child’s transcript and standardized test scores are required. Complete and give to your child’s current school the Records Release form and stress that these must be completed and received by Holy Cross as soon as possible.
